Davide Gambino is an Italian film director and producer, graduated in 2012 from "Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia - Italian National Film School". He is co-founder and executive producer of "Mon Amour Films", film production company based in Italy and active in the international market. In 2012 his feature film documentary "Pietra Pesante" won the award as Best Young Italian Filmmaker from "New York Film Academy". In 2015 he is author and director of "Il bar del Cassarà", web-series co-produced by "Rai Fiction". In 2020 his feature-length documentary "The second life" is premiered at the "Dok.Fest Munich 2020", "Warsaw Film Festival 2020" and "Biografilm Festival 2021". The film, winner of several international awards, is co-produced by Germany, Belgium and Italy with some of the major European broadcasters such as "Radio Télévision Belge" (RTBF), "Westdeutscher Rundfunk" (WDR) and "ARTE". In 2021 he presented a six-part Netflix docu-series called "Vendetta: guerra nell'antimafia", worldwide released in 194 countries.
