During his studies he worked as a radio journalist. After graduating, he switched to television and worked as an editor at a film production company for several German broadcasters from 2006-2021. In 2012, he started his own business as a filmmaker and director. Since then, he has directed several documentaries for German and international broadcasters such as WDR, ARD, ARTE, ZDF or DW. He also works for Deutsche Welle as a freelance project coordinator in the Africa department.
