Davide Gambino is an Italian film director and producer, graduated in 2012 from \"Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia - Italian National Film School\". He is co-founder and executive producer of \"Mon Amour Films\", film production company based in Italy and active in the international market.\n\nIn 2012 his feature film documentary \"Pietra Pesante\" won the award as Best Young\nItalian Filmmaker from \"New York Film Academy\". In 2015 he is author and director of \"Il bar del Cassar\u00e0\", web-series co-produced by \"Rai Fiction\". In 2020 his feature-length documentary \"The second life\" is premiered at the \"Dok.Fest Munich 2020\", \"Warsaw Film Festival 2020\" and \"Biografilm Festival 2021\". The film, winner of several international awards, is co-produced by Germany, Belgium and Italy with some of the major European broadcasters such as \"Radio T\u00e9l\u00e9vision Belge\" (RTBF), \"Westdeutscher Rundfunk\" (WDR) and \"ARTE\". In 2021 he presented a six-part Netflix docu-series called \"Vendetta: guerra nell'antimafia\", worldwide released in 194 countries.<\/span><\/p>

2012 gewann sein Dokumentarfilm „Pietra Pesante“ den Preis als bester junger italienischer Filmemacher von der „New York Film Academy“. Im Jahr 2015 ist er Autor und Regisseur von „Il bar del Cassar\u00e0“, einer Webserie, die von „Rai Fiction“ koproduziert wurde. Im Jahr 2020 feierte sein abendf\u00fcllender Dokumentarfilm „The Second Life“ auf dem „Dok.Fest M\u00fcnchen 2020“, dem „Warsaw Film Festival 2020“ und dem „Biografilm Festival 2021“ Premieren. Der Film, international mehrfach ausgezeichnet, wird von Deutschland, Belgien und Italien mit einigen der gr\u00f6\u00dften europ\u00e4ischen Rundfunkanstalten wie „Radio T\u00e9l\u00e9vision Belge“ (RTBF), „Westdeutscher Rundfunk“ (WDR) und „ARTE“ koproduziert.
