Neben diversen Hospitanzen (u.a. \u201eRadio Erft\u201c und \u201ePro GmbH\u201c) arbeitete sie von 2004 bis 2007 als Darstellerbetreuerin und Assistentin der Set &#8211; Aufnahmeleitung bei \u201eFilmpool, Film \u2013 und Fernsehproduktion\u201c. Anschlie\u00dfend absolvierte sie in K\u00f6ln zun\u00e4chst ein Jahr als PR-Volont\u00e4rin\/Jungredakteurin im Presseb\u00fcro der \u201eCM PR GmbH\u201c und darauffolgend ein weiteres Jahr als Redaktionsassistentin bei der \u201emma meimedia association GmbH\u201c. Von 2009 bis 2013 war Muriel Breier als Videojournalistin der Nachrichtenredaktion, Set-AL, 1. AL sowie Produktionsleitung bei \u201ecenter.tv\u201c in K\u00f6ln.
